What is causing my Vauxhall Insignia to overheat?

I've noticed that my Vauxhall Insignia's temperature gauge is always at the highest point, leading to overheating. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The most common cause of overheating in a Vauxhall Insignia is a faulty thermostat. It could be stuck closed, not allowing proper circulation of coolant. I recommend bringing it to a mechanic for a check and replacement if needed.

Another possibility is a leak in the cooling system. Check for any visible leaks and have them repaired immediately. Make sure to also check the condition of your hoses and replace them if necessary.

It could also be an issue with the radiator. As a Vauxhall Insignia owner, you should be aware that radiators in this model tend to corrode and fail over time. Have it checked and replaced if needed.
