Why is my Vauxhall Crossland making a clicking noise?

I recently purchased a 2020 Vauxhall Crossland and have noticed a clicking noise coming from the front of the car. It seems to be more frequent when making sharp turns or going over bumps. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi Sarah, congratulations on your new Vauxhall Crossland! The clicking noise could be caused by a few different things. It could be a problem with the CV joints or the steering system. I would recommend taking your car to a certified mechanic to diagnose the issue. It's always best to address any unusual noises as soon as possible to avoid potential further damage.

Hey Sarah, I had a similar issue with my Vauxhall Crossland. It turned out to be a worn out sway bar link. If the clicking noise only occurs when turning, then this could be the culprit. It's a relatively easy and inexpensive fix, so I would start by checking that first.

Hi Sarah, I had this problem with my Vauxhall Crossland as well. It turned out to be a loose heat shield under the car. This could be causing the clicking noise. I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have them check for any loose parts or bolts.
