What are the most common issues with the Vauxhall Crossland's electronic braking system?

I've been experiencing some strange behavior with my Vauxhall Crossland's electronic braking system. Sometimes, the system seems to activate when I'm not pressing on the brake pedal, and other times it doesn't seem to engage at all. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

This sounds like a malfunction with the electronic control unit (ECU) of the braking system. It could be caused by a faulty sensor or wiring issue. I suggest bringing your car to a certified mechanic for a thorough inspection and repair.

I had a similar issue with my Crossland and it turned out to be a malfunctioning brake pedal position sensor. The mechanic replaced it and the problem went away. Make sure to have all the sensors related to the braking system checked.

One common cause of electronic braking system issues is a low battery. Make sure to check your battery levels and have it replaced if necessary. Also, check your alternator to ensure it's providing enough power to the system.
