Why is my Vauxhall Astra making a grinding noise when I turn left?

I recently noticed that my Vauxhall Astra is making a strange grinding noise whenever I turn left. It seems to be coming from the front left side of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Your CV joint may be worn out, causing the grinding noise. This is a common issue with older Astra models. I recommend getting it repaired as soon as possible to avoid any further damage to your car.

It could also be an issue with your wheel bearing. If the noise gets louder when you turn left, this is most likely the culprit. I suggest taking your car to a mechanic to get it checked out.

Make sure to check your power steering fluid as well. If it's low or dirty, it could be causing the grinding noise. Simply topping it up or flushing it out could solve the problem.
