Why is my Vauxhall Combo Life engine overheating?

I have a 2019 Vauxhall Combo Life and recently I noticed that the engine temperature is rising faster than usual. I checked the coolant levels and they seem to be normal. What could be causing this issue and how can I prevent it from happening again?

Hi Sarah, thanks for reaching out. It seems like your engine may be overheating due to a faulty thermostat. This is a common issue with Vauxhall Combo Life models. I recommend taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic who can replace the thermostat for you. It's important to address this issue soon to prevent any further damage to your engine.

Hi Sarah, another possible cause of your engine overheating could be a leak in the cooling system. Check for any visible leaks or signs of coolant pooling under your vehicle. If you do find a leak, make sure to have it repaired immediately. You can also try flushing your radiator and refilling it with fresh coolant to see if that solves the issue.

Hi Sarah, have you been driving in extreme temperatures or heavy traffic lately? This could also contribute to your engine overheating. Make sure to give your vehicle some rest in between long drives and avoid driving in heavy traffic as much as possible. You can also consider installing an aftermarket cooling fan to help regulate the engine temperature better.
