What should I do if my Vauxhall Vivaro is overheating?

My Vauxhall Vivaro's temperature gauge is going into the red zone and I'm worried it might overheat. What steps should I take to prevent this from happening?

First, you should pull over to a safe location and turn off the engine. This will help prevent any further damage to your vehicle. Then, check the coolant level and make sure it's at the appropriate level. If the coolant level is low, you can top it up with a mixture of equal parts water and antifreeze.

It's also important to check for any leaks in the cooling system. These can cause the engine to overheat and should be fixed as soon as possible. If you notice any leaks, take your Vauxhall Vivaro to a mechanic for repairs.

In addition to checking the coolant level and checking for leaks, you should also check the condition of the radiator fan. If the fan is not working properly, it won't be able to cool down the engine effectively. If the fan is not working, you'll need to replace it.
