What engine oil should I use for my Vauxhall Insignia 1.6 CDTI?

I recently bought a Vauxhall Insignia 1.6 CDTI and I'm not sure what type of engine oil to use. The manual says to use ACEA C3 5W-30, but the mechanic at the dealership said I could also use ACEA C4. Which one should I choose?

I recommend using the ACEA C3 5W-30 engine oil for your Vauxhall Insignia 1.6 CDTI. It is the recommended oil type by the manufacturer and will ensure the best performance and longevity for your engine.

While you can use the ACEA C4 engine oil, it is not the recommended oil type for your Vauxhall Insignia 1.6 CDTI. Stick with the ACEA C3 5W-30 for optimal engine performance and protection.

I've been using the ACEA C3 5W-30 engine oil for my Vauxhall Insignia 1.6 CDTI for years and have had no issues. Stick with what the manufacturer recommends and you'll be fine.
