How can I check the engine oil level in my Vauxhall Corsa and what should I do if it is low?
ReplyTo check the engine oil level in your Vauxhall Corsa, first make sure the car is on level ground. Then, locate the dipstick, which is usually located near the front of the engine. Pull it out and wipe it clean with a rag. Reinsert the dipstick all the way back in and then pull it out again. You should see two marks on the dipstick, one for low and one for full. If the oil level is closer to the low mark, you will need to add more oil.
If you find that the engine oil level is low, do not panic. Stop by your local auto supply store and pick up a quart of the correct grade of oil for your car. Remove the oil cap on the top of the engine, usually labeled 'Oil', and pour in the oil slowly. Keep checking the level on the dipstick until it reaches the full mark. Remember to not overfill!
