Why won't my Vauxhall Insignia's engine start?

I have a 2010 Vauxhall Insignia and it has been running fine until today. When I tried to start it, the engine won't even turn over. The battery seems fine as all the lights and electronics are functioning. What could be the possible reasons for this issue?

There could be multiple reasons why your engine won't start. It could be a faulty starter motor, a dead battery, a bad ignition switch or even a clogged fuel filter. I would suggest checking these components first and then seeking professional help if needed.

Make sure that the fuel pump is working properly and that there is fuel in the tank. Also, check the spark plugs and wires to see if they need to be replaced. If everything seems fine, then it could be an issue with the engine's computer system.

An often overlooked cause for an engine not starting is a faulty key. Your car's immobilizer system may not recognize your key's code, preventing the engine from starting. Try using your spare key and see if that works.
