Why is the Vauxhall Mokka's engine making a knocking noise?

I noticed that my Vauxhall Mokka's engine has been making a knocking noise recently. It seems to happen more when I accelerate. Is this something I should be concerned about?

The knocking noise could be a sign of a serious issue with your engine. It's important to get it checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible.

It's possible that the knocking noise is just a minor issue, such as a loose belt or a dirty fuel filter. However, it's still best to have it checked out by a professional to be safe.

One possible cause of the knocking noise could be low oil levels. Make sure to check your oil and top it up if needed.

I have a Vauxhall Mokka as well and experienced a similar issue. It turned out to be a faulty spark plug. I would recommend getting all of your spark plugs checked as well.
