Why is the oil light coming on in my Vauxhall Mokka?

Recently, the oil light in my Vauxhall Mokka keeps coming on, even though I just had an oil change. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It could be due to a faulty oil pressure sensor or a loose wire. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.

Make sure you are using the recommended oil for your Vauxhall Mokka. Using the wrong type of oil can trigger the oil light. Double check your owner's manual for the correct type of oil.

Have you checked the oil level? Sometimes the oil light can come on if the oil level is too low. If that's the case, top off the oil and monitor it to see if the light continues to come on.

I had the same issue with my Vauxhall Mokka and it turned out to be a faulty oil pump. I recommend taking your car to a Vauxhall dealership for proper diagnosis and repair.
