Why is my Vauxhall Vivaro key not turning in the ignition?

I am having trouble starting my Vauxhall Vivaro, as the key will not turn in the ignition. I have tried using both of my keys and have checked the battery, but it still won't turn. Any suggestions on what could be causing this issue?

One potential issue could be a worn out ignition cylinder. If your key has been difficult to turn for a while, it may have worn down the teeth on the key and the cylinder, making it difficult to turn. You may need to get a new key or ignition cylinder to solve this issue.

Another possibility is that there is debris or grime lodged in the keyhole, preventing the key from turning. Try using some compressed air or a small brush to clean out the keyhole and see if that helps.

It could also be a problem with the steering column lock or the ignition switch. It's best to take your vehicle to a certified mechanic to diagnose and fix these issues.
