Why is my Vauxhall Mokka making a weird noise while braking?

I've noticed that my Vauxhall Mokka makes a strange grinding noise every time I apply the brakes. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

The strange noise while braking could be caused by worn brake pads. You should have them inspected and replaced if needed to ensure safe braking.

D

Another possible cause could be debris or rust on the brake discs. This can be remedied by having your brake discs cleaned or replaced if necessary.

E

If the noise persists even after replacing the brake pads and cleaning the discs, it may be an issue with the brake calipers. Have them inspected and repaired if needed.
