Why is my Vauxhall Insignia's adaptive cruise control not working?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Insignia with adaptive cruise control, but it doesn't seem to be functioning properly. My speed keeps fluctuating and the system doesn't seem to be adjusting to the car in front of me. Is there a specific way to activate the adaptive cruise control or could there be a malfunction?

Hi Maria, it sounds like there may be an issue with the sensors that are responsible for detecting the car in front of you. I would recommend bringing your car to a Vauxhall dealership to have it checked out.

Make sure you have properly set the distance between your car and the car in front of you. You can adjust this using the buttons on your steering wheel.

If the adaptive cruise control still doesn't seem to be working after adjusting the distance, you may need to have it recalibrated at a Vauxhall service center.
