Why is my Vauxhall Corsa making a grinding noise when turning?

I recently noticed that my Vauxhall Corsa is making a grinding noise when I turn the steering wheel. It doesn't happen all the time, but it seems to be getting worse. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It sounds like you may have a problem with your CV joints. They can wear out over time and start making a grinding noise when turning. I would recommend having a mechanic take a look and potentially replacing them.

Another possibility is that your power steering fluid is low or dirty. This can also cause grinding noises when turning. You can check your fluid levels and top off or flush it if necessary.

If your grinding noise is accompanied by a clicking or popping sound, it could be a sign of a worn out wheel bearing. This should be addressed as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your vehicle.
