Why does my Vauxhall Zafira Life make a clunking noise when turning?

I have noticed that every time I turn a corner, my Vauxhall Zafira Life makes a loud clunking noise. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi Maria, the clunking noise you are hearing could be caused by worn out suspension components such as ball joints or control arm bushings. It is best to have a mechanic inspect your car to accurately diagnose and fix the issue. Your safety is important, so don't hesitate to get this checked out.

I had the same issue with my Zafira Life and it turned out to be a loose sway bar link. It's a relatively easy and inexpensive fix, so you could try checking that first before taking it to a mechanic.

Another possible cause of the clunking noise could be a worn out strut mount. This is a more involved repair and should be done by a professional. Don't ignore this issue as it could affect your car's handling and stability.
