There could be a number of reasons for this issue. First, check your air filter to make sure it is clean and not clogged. A dirty air filter can cause a decrease in engine power. Additionally, it may be time to change your spark plugs, as worn out plugs can also affect acceleration. Lastly, it may be a problem with your fuel pump or injectors. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to diagnose the issue and make any necessary repairs.

I had a similar issue with my Vauxhall Insignia and it turned out to be a problem with the mass air flow sensor. This sensor measures the amount of air going into the engine and if it's faulty, it can lead to slower acceleration. I suggest having your mechanic check the sensor and replace it if necessary.

I've had experience with sluggish acceleration on my Vauxhall Insignia and it was due to a dirty fuel filter. If the filter is clogged, it can restrict the flow of fuel to the engine and affect performance. Try replacing the fuel filter and see if it makes a difference.
