Is the Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTi BlueInjection worth the extra cost for added fuel efficiency?

I am considering purchasing a Vauxhall Insignia and am wondering if the 2.0 CDTi BlueInjection engine is worth the added cost. Will I see a noticeable difference in fuel efficiency compared to the standard engine? I am open to spending a bit more for long term savings, but don't want to overpay for something that won't make a significant impact.
