I have a Vauxhall Zafira Life and it won't start. The battery seems fine and all the lights and radio are working. What could be causing this issue? How can I troubleshoot and fix it?
ReplyFirst, check the connections to the battery and make sure they are secure. If they are loose, tighten them and try starting the car again.
If the connections are fine, it could be a faulty starter motor. In this case, it's best to have a mechanic diagnose and replace it.
Another possible issue could be a faulty ignition switch. Try turning the key while gently jiggling it. If that works, the switch may need to be replaced.
It's also possible that the fuel pump has gone bad. Listen for a humming noise coming from the fuel tank when you turn the key. If you don't hear anything, the fuel pump may need to be replaced.
