How often should the brake pads be replaced on a Vauxhall Crossland?

I've had my Vauxhall Crossland for about 3 years now and I'm wondering how often I should replace the brake pads. I want to make sure I'm not waiting too long and causing damage to my car.

It is recommended to replace your brake pads every 50,000 miles or as soon as you notice any decrease in braking performance. If you frequently drive in stop-and-go traffic or live in a hilly area, you may need to replace them more often.

One way to tell if your brake pads need to be replaced is by looking at the thickness of the pad. If it is less than 1/4 inch, it's time for a replacement.

Being proactive and regularly checking your brake pads can save you money in the long run. It's better to replace them before they completely wear out and potentially cause damage to your car's braking system.
