How do I change the automatic headlights settings on my Vauxhall Grandland?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Grandland and I've noticed that the automatic headlights always turn on, even during the day. Is there any way to adjust the settings so the headlights only turn on at night?

Hi Samantha, to change the automatic headlight settings on your Vauxhall Grandland, you will need to access the car's settings menu. This can usually be done through the touchscreen display or by using the steering wheel controls. From there, you should be able to find an option to adjust the headlight settings. If you're having trouble finding it, refer to your car's manual for specific instructions.

Hi Samantha, there should be a setting in your car's settings menu that allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the automatic headlights. Try decreasing the sensitivity so they only turn on when it's darker outside. If this doesn't work, you may need to take your car to a dealership or mechanic to have the settings adjusted.

Hey Samantha, I had the same issue with my Vauxhall Grandland. I found that I needed to adjust the light sensor located on the dashboard near the windshield. It may be covered with a small piece of plastic that can be easily removed. Once you locate the sensor, try adjusting it to a different angle to see if that helps with the automatic headlights.
