I have noticed that my Vauxhall Corsa has been stalling while idling, especially when I am at a stop light or in traffic. It only started happening recently and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Any advice on what might be causing this issue?
ReplyOne possible reason for your Vauxhall Corsa stalling while idling could be a dirty or faulty idle air control valve. This valve controls the air flow into the engine while it is idling and can become clogged with debris over time. I would recommend having it cleaned or replaced by a mechanic.
Another possible issue could be a vacuum leak. This can cause the engine to receive too much air and lead to stalling. I suggest doing a visual inspection of all the vacuum hoses and connections to see if any are damaged or disconnected. If so, have them repaired or replaced.
It could also be an issue with the spark plugs or ignition system. If they are worn or malfunctioning, it can cause the engine to stall. I recommend having them checked and replaced if necessary.
