Why does my Vauxhall Crossland's engine make a clicking noise when starting?

Every time I start my Vauxhall Crossland's engine, it makes a clicking noise. It doesn't seem to affect the performance, but it worries me. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

The clicking noise you are hearing is most likely coming from the starter motor. As long as the engine is starting up and running smoothly, there is no immediate cause for concern.

It's most likely the solenoid switch that controls the starter motor making the clicking noise. This is a common issue with Vauxhall Crossland's and should be checked by a mechanic, just in case.

If the clicking noise is particularly loud and persistent, it could be a sign of a worn out starter motor. It's best to have it checked and replaced if necessary before it causes any further issues.
