When should I replace the timing belt in my Vauxhall Astra?

I have a Vauxhall Astra from 2010 with over 100,000 km on the odometer. I have never replaced the timing belt since I bought the car. Should I be worried and replace it now or can I wait a bit longer?

It is recommended to replace the timing belt in your Vauxhall Astra every 100,000 km or every 5 years, whichever comes first. It is an essential part of your engine and should not be neglected.

If you have never replaced the timing belt in your Vauxhall Astra, it is time to do so. With over 100,000 km on the odometer, it is likely past its recommended replacement interval.

It is always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your timing belt. If you are unsure of the last time it was replaced, it is best to do so now to avoid any potential engine damage.
