What to do if my Vauxhall Vivaro's engine is making a strange noise?

I've noticed that my Vauxhall Vivaro's engine has been making a strange noise lately. It's not very loud, but it's definitely noticeable. What could be the cause of this and what steps should I take to address it?

It's possible that your engine is low on oil. Check your oil levels and top up if necessary. If the noise persists, it's recommended to take your van to a certified mechanic for further inspection and repairs.

Another possible cause could be a faulty serpentine belt. If the belt is worn or damaged, it can create a squeaking or whining noise. Have a mechanic check the condition of your belt and replace it if needed.

If your Vivaro has higher mileage, it's possible that the noise is due to worn out engine mounts. This is a common issue in older vehicles and replacing the mounts should solve the problem.
