How to fix a leaking water pump in a Vauxhall Vivaro?

I noticed that my Vauxhall Vivaro is leaking coolant from the water pump. Is this something that can be easily fixed or should I take it to a mechanic?

In most cases, a leaking water pump can be fixed by replacing the gasket or seal. It's a good idea to have a mechanic take a look at it to determine the exact cause and to make sure there are no other underlying issues.

You can also try using a sealant designed specifically for fixing leaks in the cooling system. However, this is only a temporary solution and it's still recommended to have a professional take a look at it.

If the leak is coming from the water pump itself, it will need to be replaced. This is a more involved job and should be done by a qualified mechanic.
