Firstly, check if your engine coolant levels are sufficient. If they are low, fill it up with the correct type of coolant for your vehicle. If the levels are fine, then the issue may be with your thermostat. A faulty thermostat can cause your engine to overheat. In this case, it is recommended to get it replaced.

Another possible cause could be a clogged radiator. Over time, debris and sediment can build up in your radiator, blocking the flow of coolant and causing your engine to overheat. To fix this, you can try flushing out your radiator or taking it to a professional for a thorough cleaning.

You should also check your Vauxhall Vivaro's water pump. A faulty water pump can cause issues with coolant circulation, leading to overheating. If you notice any leaks or strange noises coming from your water pump, it is recommended to get it replaced.
