How can I troubleshoot my Vauxhall Corsa's engine not starting?

I have a 2006 Vauxhall Corsa and the engine will not start. All lights and electrical components are working fine, but the engine won't turn over. Is there any way to troubleshoot this issue?

First, make sure your battery is fully charged. If it is, then check the starter motor and solenoid. Also, ensure that the fuel pump is working properly. If all of these are in good working order and the engine still won't start, it could be a more serious issue with the ignition system.

Have you recently had any work done on the engine or electrical system? If so, it could be a faulty connection or component. Double check all connections and make sure everything is securely attached. It's also a good idea to run a diagnostic test to see if any error codes show up.

Another potential issue could be with the ignition switch. If the switch is faulty, the engine will not start. Check the switch for any signs of wear or damage and replace if necessary.

In some cases, a clogged or dirty fuel filter can also prevent the engine from starting. Try replacing the fuel filter and see if that solves the issue. If not, it may be a problem with the fuel pump itself.
