How do I reset the service light on a Vauxhall Vivaro?

I recently purchased a used Vauxhall Vivaro and noticed that the service light is on. How do I reset it?

First, turn on the ignition but don't start the engine. Wait 5 seconds, then press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously and hold for 10 seconds. Release both pedals and then switch off the ignition. The service light should now be reset.

Another method is to hold down the SET and MODE buttons on the trip computer and turn the ignition on. Keep holding the buttons until the SET indicator flashes, then release the buttons. Use the MODE button to navigate to the 'SERVICE' menu and then press SET. Use MODE again to select 'RESET' and then press SET. The service light should now be reset.
